Day 01

The day starts with an early breakfast in Kathmandu before embarking on a Kailash Mansarovar Yatra Package 10 Days drive to Kyirung via the Friendship Highway. Day 07

Trek from Dira-Puk – Zuthul Puk Over the Dolma-La Pass, 6-7 hrs, 550m ascent, 600m descent.

Day 08

Day 09

Drive back to Kyirung O/N at Guest House

This morning, the day begins with breakfast in Saga. Then you'll drive back towards the Nepal-Tibet border town of Kyirung. The car moves along the plains and hills. There are herds of yaks and sheep grazing.

The long journey on the highway is different from the mountainous terrain driven on the previous days for the Kailash Mansarovar Parvat Yatra. The landscape is vast. Brown grasslands and snow-capped mountains are in the background. Prayer flags are also seen along the highway, near shrines along the way. The road is smooth in some stretches and dusty in others. But the landscape is peaceful. Clear skies most days.

Day 10

Kyirung /Rasuwagadi to Kathmandu 155 km

You drive to Kathmandu after breakfast from your guesthouse in Kyirong. First, you need to go to the Rasuwagadi / Kyirong border. That's where you do the immigration and entrance in Nepal. Once you enter Nepal, you notice greener surroundings.

The terrain changes as hills come and go. Towns, rivers, and agricultural lands dot the route as you wind your way down through mountain roads for the Kailash Parbat Trip. Charan Sparsh: It's possible while you're trekking to Dirapuk. But it depends on the local security situation and Chinese law enforcement at that time.
Kora Exterior: Part of your itinerary. It's 52 kilometres over three days through Mount Kailash.
Inner Kora: It's possible to do it on the day you drive from Darchen. But it's subject to special permission and good fitness.

Jeeps are used from Kathmandu to the border. The seating capacity is 6 persons per vehicle. Vans or minibuses are used on the Tibet side to provide greater comfort.

Seatbelts are available on most vehicles. But some older models may not be equipped with seatbelts, especially on the Tibet side, due to local vehicle regulations. Although no technical climbing is involved, there's considerable walking during the three-day Kailash Mansarovar Parikrama in 10 Days. It covers 52 km.
