The descent towards Zuthul Puk takes place in the afternoon. It's a resting place with simple lodges for the Kailash Mansarovar Small Group Lowest Cost Yatra 10 days. The dinner tonight is warming and hearty. The air feels still and calm. The stars appear early in the night.

Max Altitude: 4450m Meals: BreakfastAccommodation: Guest House.

The day starts with breakfast at Zuthul Puk. After that, the final part of the 10 days Mount Kailash tour Parikrama trek will be completed. The day's trek involves a gradual descent through small valleys and streams. Prayer stones are along the way. The area is filled with colourful flags.

All around, the landscape is open plains with mountains in the distance. The terrain is not rocky. It provides a comfortable trek to the end of the Kora circuit. The final part of the trek is through areas near gentle hills and vast expanses of the far horizon. It's usually very peaceful after the rigorous climb of the last few days.

Lunch will be taken on the trek. The location is alongside a distant mountain range. It's peaceful and perfect for a stopover before the final part of the Kailash Trekking from Nepal trek.

Upon reaching Darchen, the vehicle will be boarded. The drive back will begin, crossing wide highlands to Saga. Dinner in Saga will be hot and delicious. It's served at a guesthouse.

Max Altitude: 2300m Meals: BreakfastAccommodation: Guest House.

This morning, the day begins with breakfast in Saga. Then you'll drive back towards the Nepal-Tibet border town of Kyirung. The car moves along the plains and hills. There are herds of yaks and sheep grazing.

The long journey on the highway is different from the mountainous terrain driven on the previous days for the Kailash Mansarovar Parvat Yatra. The landscape is vast. Brown grasslands and snow-capped mountains are in the background. Prayer flags are also seen along the highway, near shrines along the way. The road is smooth in some stretches and dusty in others. But the landscape is peaceful. Clear skies most days.

Along the way, stop at a diner or a small restaurant near the highway. You'll be served warm dishes such as noodles, rice, and soups for the Kailash Mansarovar Parikrama in 10 Days. They'll give you the required energy boost. Rivers are also seen flowing from the higher grounds towards your side. At times, the plains appear endless under the sun.

Max Altitude: 1400m Meals: Breakfast

You drive to Kathmandu after breakfast from your guesthouse in Kyirong. First, you need to go to the Rasuwagadi / Kyirong border. That's where you do the immigration and entrance in Nepal. Once you enter Nepal, you notice greener surroundings.

The terrain changes as hills come and go. Towns, rivers, and agricultural lands dot the route as you wind your way down through mountain roads for the Kailash Parbat Trip. Over time, you also notice a temperature change. It now feels warmer. The air is filled with the fragrance of trees and crops. Many mountain rivers run parallel to the road. They create waterfalls at several places.

You stop to eat lunch at a restaurant on the highway. It offers Nepali dal bhat and tea. The fresh air and winding road allow you to enjoy the final stretch of the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra Tour. As you drive forward, you see mountain peaks. But they now seem distant and soft, unlike the harsh plateau you saw earlier.

In the late afternoon, you arrive in Kathmandu. Dinner can be at your hotel or your favourite restaurant. The Kailash Mansarovar Yatra by road journey ends here. But you now have memories of the high plateau, huge lakes, quiet valleys, and endless mountain scenery you saw on your unique Mahadev Kailash yatra from Nepal overland journey with Mansarovar Tours.

Accommodation Details for Small Group Kailash Mansarovar Yatra

The type of accommodation on Kailash route changes during your spiritual pilgrimage as you travel to different places. In bigger towns in Tibet, such as Nyalam, Saga, and Darchen, you stay in hotels. The hotel rooms are either twin-sharing or double-sharing. They provide basic amenities and warm bedding to counter the cold weather conditions.

In places such as Lake Mansarovar, Dirapuk, and Zutulpuk, which are spiritually significant, you stay in dormitory rooms in guesthouses. You share these rooms with other pilgrims from your group. The rooms in these places provide basic amenities, such as shared bathrooms. The rooms are simple. But they offer basic amenities to stay in such a high-altitude region.

Please note that you don't expect luxury in such remote places. The altitude is very high. So the amenities remain basic. The availability of hot water is not guaranteed. And the electricity supply is also erratic. It's advisable to carry a sleeping bag liner. You can upgrade to Luxury Accommodation at extra cost.

Drinking water is available throughout your 10 days Mount Kailash tour. You can buy both boiled water and bottled water while you're on your journey. It's essential to keep drinking water at all times while you're at a high altitude.
