We are pleased to inform you that The Kingdom of Bhutan will be reopening the Bhutan tour first time after pandemic from 01st September 2022 with 24hrs quarantine for general tourists. Entry and exit from Paro international airport only until 22nd September 2022. The Bhutan Border is opening from 23rd September 2022 only without Quarantine. Bhutan tour was closed for general tourist since the covid 2019. Recently Bhutan government decided to re-opening Bhutan tour for tourists with new Sustainable Development Fee (SDF). It was US$ 65.00 per person per night. It is US$ 200.00 per person/ per night After rising the Bhutan SDF. Beside of Sustainable development fee you still need to pay for accommodation, Guide, Vehicles, food, and Entrance fee of the monuments in Bhutan. Bhutan visa fees will be applicable as per the immigration rules and regulation. The entrance fee to monuments and sacred sites and other conditions as per the notification from the national monuments committee dated 15th July 2022. Now the entrance fee must pay separately by the tourists in Bhutan. The entrance fees are based on the tour itinerary. Entry fees in Bhutan will collected by the Tourism council of Bhutan (TCB) from tour operator while processing the visa.  

How to process your Bhutan Visa?

a.     Bhutan border is opening to tourists from 23rd September 2022.

b.    No quarantine after 22nd September 2022.

c.     Need fully vaccinated card to travel to Bhutan

d.    Now you can travel to Bhutan without PCR test

e.    05 days Quarantine required for non-vaccinate tourists.

f.    PCR antigen is required upon arrival for all tourist (Cost $8.00 per person)

How much is monuments entrance fees in Bhutan?

Bhutan tour entrance fees are doesn’t included on the daily rate. It must pay separately by the tourist. The entrance fee is depending on the tour itinerary that how many days tour in Bhutan. The entrance fees must be paid by the tour operator while processing your visa. Make sure with your travel agent before you booked the Bhutan tour packages.  Here is the list of monuments and sacred sites entrance fees for your reference as below:

>  10th day of 5th Month (Birth Anniversary of Guru Rinpoche)

Please note that the entrance fees for some of the monuments, which are not listed above are not yet finalized. Therefore, we will update you when we receive the next updates.
